    'God' to Godzone

Robbie signs for North Queensland Fury

    http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2...04/2482072.htm

This is going to be tough, when he comes to play the Wellington Phoenix. Do I cheer the locals or Robbie....

Woah! Damn, I wish they were Cairns based. I don't fancy a 400km drive to Townsville.

Can't wait till he comes to play against Newcastle!
      On the Ning Nang Nong
      Where the Cows go Bong!
And the Monkeys all say Boo!
      There's a Nong Nang Ning
      Where the trees go Ping!
And the tea pots Jibber Jabber Joo.
      On the Nong Ning Nang
      All the mice go Clang!
And you just can't catch 'em when they do!
      So it's Ning Nang Nong!
      Cows go Bong!
      Nong Nang Ning!
      Trees go Ping!
      Nong Ning Nang!
      The mice go clang!
What a noisy place to belong,
Is the Ning Nang Ning Nang Nong!!

            Well said Marc

But I am well pleased we've got Jason Culina and Shane Smeltz.

Well here is one Sydney FC home game that I'll be going to. I'm pretty stoked about it and it'd be good to get a Robbie fan club in each away game that he plays at.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

It's probably pretty easy getting tickets to see Sydney FC play at present

Queensland for the title? Even Michael Bridges made an impression when he went to Sydney.

Bit of a coup for Gold Coast signing Culina though.

Major major coup. Hope he stays fit cause I can see a good debut season coming up hopefully. Smeltz also!Top scorer in the league this year.

I wonder if Robbie is checking the weather for north QLD at present.

Snow in London and major flooding for Townsville after a cyclone blew in north of there.

He must be thinking "what the hell have I got myself into here"

I do like the A-League - doesn't seem like there's much to choose between a lot of the teams now which is real progress over the last few years.

I predict Robbie will have bought half of Townsville within a year. I was only there briefly but it's a nice place, lots of potential.

I wouldn't wish Sydney FC on my worst enemy at the moment. I suppose by default I'm FC, but those fans are knob jockeys!!
