The way that player went down...first time i've seen a player take a dive from a Ref's challenge.:haha:
'But Seriously', Shocking display by those players, they should never er....'grace'? a football field again.
No wonder there is a shortage of good quality consistent refereeing, the things that go on in this country alone on many a local park/pitch, with the ref the target of aggression would be enough to put many a good and promising ref off.
That ref got off lightly all things considered.
I wonder how the player who's neck, jaw and nose the ref broke with that crippling assault is. :crackoff:
You don't get ref's with that level of speed and fitness in the PL.

:haha: Or as Hard, the way he swept that player aside...sending him crashing to the floor with a swish of his Red Card.

He was strolling in the end. Flmao at the cinematic simulation of injury by the player and at a kung fu kick attempt by one of the players. :haha:
It was an incredible stroll in the park by the ref in the end. :haha:

I'd hate to be a referee but there are worse things. Being fredo, for instance.

My flatmate is being paid by his newspaper to train as a referee and write a blog about it. I doubt the same will happen to him with respect to fredo though.
It should be an interesting experiment. The only person I know who has tried to be a referee before basically got bullied out of it by parents at the games he worked on (obviously all kids leagues). It must take a lot of dedication and stubbornness to continue and then people wonder why only arrogant fuckwits get to the top of the profession.

Are you talking about Neil Young there?
Funnily though, I was tempted to apply for a refereeing job, as a casual job today. :D
