...will be a great tournament. The Swiss and the Austrians will put on a great show, and the Swiss XI will come out with of the tournament with a lot of credit.

....on the other hand: footballwise, Austria will disgrace themselves.
They are presently drawing 0-0 with LIECHTENSTEIN. Liechtenstein have hit the bar already. :o

It's bloody embarrassing. :rant: :cry:

Do they automatically qualify as holders?

I thought Uefa scrapped that rule. It's quite ludicrous that they have right enough. The Champions should always be guaranteed qualification to defend their crown.

No, they have to qualify. They've got Turkey, Norway, Hungary in their group. Beaten Moldova and Norway so far. 6 points out of 6.
