Surely we could use a couple of these players especially Sneijder or Van Der Vaart.

Van Der Vaart flatters to deceive and i dont think he'd have the aggression for the PL.
Sneijder's potentially good, but i'm not sure if he's dynamic or quick enough for english football.
Id take Sneijder.
Robben is a fantastic player, and would improve our team.. but there is a problem with his attitude.
and as for Drenthe, i dont think him and gerrard see eye-to-eye, and hes done nothing at madrid to sugges he has fulfilled his potential.

Id take a punt on Drenthe.
Robben comes to us id not be happy, hes a cunt of the highest order.
Robben: Has the talent but a combination of his injury record and being a twat means I don't want him.
VdV: Agree with Craig_H he'd be a waste of time.
Drenthe: Has some talent but I don't know where his best position is and we don't need a utility player. Not good enough in the air to really improve us defensively and too much of a twat.
Sneijder: The one I would have the closest look at but, again, like Craig I have worries about his suitability for the PL. Also not sure where he would fit in a team with Gerrard.

Sneijder on the right is just as effective as he is through the middle. If you want an alternative to Kuyt, he could be the man although many would want someone who is more direct from the outside rather than creative from an inside right position.

sneijder
others i'd have to say no

Thats sort of the point though at the minute we lack pace on the wings as much as anything and playing on the right he doesn't offer that. He is more guileful that Kuyt but the gain is mitgated by his lack of physicality IMO. He could work well but is likely to be too expensive compared to the benefits he would bring.

Very true. I did see him in the Euros especially against Russia playing in a much deeper role and was quite effective however IIRC he was gifted an awful amount of space in a very open match. In a sense, when watching Theo Walcott, it almost seems we missed a trick there and I understand his dad was a Liverpool fan; his dad has a huge say in Walcott's career.

I'd take all except for Drenthe.
Wesley and Royston in a heartbeat.
RVN would be decent cover for Fernando at a reasonable price.
I wouldn't take any of them.
The only player I would want from Real is Sergio Ramos.

if we get Robben I'm giving up footy, coudn't bring myself to support a team with him in, no matter how good he is
Sneijder is a top player but I'm not sure where he'd fit into our team, other than as cover for Stevie.

I feel your pain. :D
Rafa won't sign the cunt anyway, just using him as CHEESE CHEESE CHEESE!!!
Get Sneijder and play him on the right against the weak teams, against the bigger teams he can come off the bench when we need a third gear to move into.

As much as I dislike him, I'd have Robben in for Babel and ahead of the others. He can do left or right and as it seems to be a requirement when touted signings are discussed is premiership proven. It would put a lump in my throat, but he is a very good player. He must surely be over his growing pains by now.

:haha:
Sneijder
Robben :fuckoffanddieyoucunt:
Wouldn't be too eager to go for any of them.
Van Der Vaart and Sneider, while both capable of immense skill, have sulked and walked around the pitch every time I've seen them for club and country in the last six months.
Robben = gobshite. I'd only sign him so Reina can beat him up at Melwood. Haven't seen enough of Drenthe (apart from his spat with Stevie) to know.
