I dont care how good he can be, yes thats can be, you know when he can be arsed to play, another one of his dreadful attributes but this guy is an absolute stain on the sport, it's not even the diving it's the fact he actually pretends to be injured with it, its sickening. A vile cunt.

Their whole team should be ashamed of themselves imo, Drogba especially obviously. You could see quite clearly how annoyed we were getting by their continuous diving at any slight contact. Sadly the ref bought every single cunting one

his sulking caused Scholari to get sacked..

Correct along with Terry and Lampard and as for Mourinho it was Ballack and schevchenko who got him out.

One thing to dive the other to dive and pretend to be injured doesnt set a good example to kids if he had stayed on his feet think it would of been us through and not them as Alex wouldnt of scored from the free kick

There's no place in the game for people like Drogba. As much of a talent the guy is he is a complete twat.

When he was writhing on the floor in 'agony' at 4-4 I was urging Skrtel to give him a good fucking kick.

The red card would have been well worth it in the circumstances.

At 4-4 complaining about a hole in his sock, or rolling back on to pitch to waste time, I don't know which is more laughable. Dogbra typifies everything that is bad about the modern game of football.

But then that's chelsea, the chelsea way - cheat, foul, do whatever it takes.

He's a fucking huge bloke, built more like a rugby league player than a footballer. It pisses me off no end that such an athlete could waste talent throwing themselves around and crying like a big fucking baby. I would love someone to give him a really good twatting over and give him something tangible to justify his writhing. You'd think referees would be wise to his antics, but they're fooled over and over again. Most of the three minutes added on tonight were wasted by that cunt.

A disgrace - he has all the attributes to be a great footballer, but he is just a complete cunt. The 'injury' in the the first half - when he was off the pitch, then rolled back on etc, and then limped about in agony, he could hardly walk, if it had been someone with a bit of dignity you would be thinking, fuck, he may have broken something there, but not drogba, 5 mins later he was sprinting after the ball - it's pathetic and an embarrasment.

Surely if an injured player comes back on to the pitch without the refs permission, that's a booking??

Him rolling back onto the pitch to stop the game was appalling and should have been a booking.

He's a tremendous, almost unplayable striker when he's in the mood but ruins it all in an instant with his pathetic antics.

He spent more time on the deck then he did in the game. I reckon we should turn it into a positive though. Next time he plays us all of us supporters should pick a charity and donate a particular ammount of money (don't make it too much, say a pound) every time he hits the dirt! You get enough supporters doing it and that'd be a tidy little earner for the little orphans in Africa. I reckon the papers would pick up on it as well.

On another note, love to know what that spray was they used on him when he went down. Poor bugger was in excruciating agony, I thought he was going to lose his leg, but hey presto, the aerosol comes out, it get sprayed.... on to his boot...... and he now can walk again! This should go out on the market, I'm sure that it could cure cancer and raise the dead!

What I don't get is that referees come on the radio and say it is often hard to tell when a player is diving/simulating at full pace at a difficult angle. Which is fair enough but yesterday at least twice Drogba went down miles from the point of contact ludicrously and held part of himself before walking off as soon as either play stopped or he decided he wasn't getting anything. In those circumstances it isn't hard and a card should be produced. He was particularly ridiculous yesterday. For some reason commentators don't see it as a big issue if it isn't in the box, whereas yesterday at least twice Drogba deliberately used the tactic to stop us counter attacking which has an arguably, from an entertainment point of view, worse effect on the game.

PTP
05-10-09, 02:17 PM
he is a fucking disgrace - which, i hate to say, is a shame - because he has the ability to be one of the best in the world.

I am not just saying this as a reaciton to yesterday's loss. It happens in every game Drogba plays in. it's embarrasing to see. - Ok players dive, and occasionally make a meal out of challenges, but the way he acts is just perfect - He is a big fucking grock, he should be and when he wants to be, as 'hard as nails' - and yet he acts like that.

He should be laughing at the attempts to tackle him, and then look to either skin or crunch the player back - not fucking rolling around like a pansy.

He does this often and it absolutely makes my blood boil....it's almost as if the refs and commentatotors dont realise what he's doing it for. In the CL semi last year he actually rolled back on the pitch to stop play FFS! Why teams/refs dont just play on i dont know.....the rule is only to stop the game if it's a head injury. What a CUNT!

CJ
05-10-09, 02:57 PM
it does need to be stopped. it does ruin the game and when your own players ignore you or tell you to get up when your diving you know that its got past a joke.

i remember last season when he went down and was off the pitch and then rolled back onto the pitch.

It ain't a big issue really...annoying, pathetic, but he ain't the only one doing it, it is rife in other leagues, foreigners and play-acting go hand in hand (no offence to any foreigners, but just look at La Liga, Seria A etc, and you'll see that doing a Drogba is commonplace). It's a shame tho, cos when he stays on his feet he is an amazing player, and deserves credit. It's just a pity he acts like a tit sometimes.

I'm not sure that this foreigners and play acting thing holds up at all. Many English players are terrible for it. It's more the increased big business, win at all costs mentality that surrounds the sport in all countries that is to blame in my eyes.

I have to say the two things that bug me most in football at present are how the authorities seem to view tactical diving and fouling as perfectly acceptable. For years now teams like United (and we are not blameless but as we are shit at defending set pieces it doesn't work as well) have taken people out on the break and often not even been carded for it - certainly doing it more than once doesn't equal a sending off. Wes Brown seems to use it as his primary defensive tactic at times. I've talked about the diving thing earlier but it does really grate on me.

wiw
06-10-09, 01:58 PM
He seems even worse now under Ancelotti. He's cut out the moaning and cum-face 'what are you gonna do ref' kind of looks and just happily gets on with his diving without looking fussed. He just stands up and carries on ffs :grr:
