BBC linking us to him in the summer

Remember him impressing for Birmingham but haven't seen anything since

Anyone got an opinion?

He's at Lazio where he has been reasonably prolific. We've been linked again according to goal.com

He scored a very nice goal in Lazio's 4-2 victory against Roma. Other than that I haven't heard much about him, I only remember that he scored quite a lot of goals for Lazio at the beginning of the season.

He was incredible in a few games I watched earlier in the season for Lazio. Would be a brilliant signing. Needs to step up to our level. Very skillful player and might be what we need to turn those home draws into wins!

I watch a lot of italian footy and he looks like a very good player. he is the type of player that could play up top on his own (but probably better with a partner) but also has shown enough movement and pace to suggest he could play wide on either side in a 4-2-3-1 or even in Stevie's role, which would probably be his best position. he can hit a mean free kick too. similar to Ageuro but not at his level.

Hes very exciting to watch and the analogy with Aguero is fair. We were linked with him before an Rafa said he liked him and knew his family, but we werent interested. I wouldnt rule out a move for him.

Well I wanted us to sign him when he left Birmingham but haven't seen him play for Lazio. He looked a class act to me and would've been a far better option than Keane.

I was one of the few pleading for us to sign him when Birmingham couldn't afford to keep him.

He's a cracking player.

Impressed at Birmingham and started the season on fire at Lazio, scoring for fun. But after a great start the goals have dried up and he's been below par.

Young lad with potential though and has shown he can hack the premier league. Wouldn't be against his signing.

Likewise. IIRC though weren't his parent club asking for a silly amount of money?

I wonder if Lazio need a new left back?
