Ok, so this is a sideline..
On September 1st 2008 the Abu Dhabi United Group, of which Al-Fahim is a board member, agreed the take over of Premier League football club Manchester City. The deal was signed at the Emirates Palace Hotel in the presence of Al-Fahim, who represented ADUG. Within hours of the take over deal being finalized, ADUG financed the purchase of Robinho for a British transfer record of £32.5 million.[9][10]

ADUG will be represented on the new board of Manchester City by Hydra Properties CEO Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim.
Al Fahim, who led negotiations, confirmed on Monday the deal had been struck. He told Arabian Business: “We will release details later, but this is a great event for both the club and Abu Dhabi.
"Our goal is very simple – to make Manchester City the biggest club in the Premier League, and to begin with, to finish in the top four this season.”
Al Fahim stressed that the Group will solve all the club problems and clear any pending payments, and will comprehensively support the club by bringing in some of the best football players in the world.

On the radio (5Live I think) yesterday they said he was involved in that consortium (past tense). I think that after he got slapped down after claiming City were going to buy everyone under the sun he walked away."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."
