View Full Version : Jack Wilshere
He will rip the Premiership to shreds next season. Saw him in a pre-season game yesterday and it's painfully obvious that he's a class above the rest of the team, Van Persie/Fabregas aside (possibly)
From that same game I thought Wilshire was the best player on the pitch for either side. Stunning prospect!

Yes, but bare in mind this match means a great deal to him. The senior players will not be so bothered about it.
And he was also playing a team in Atletico who are way behind Arsenal fitness wise. Mind, he did a bit of dazzling skill against Rangers today.

That's a fair point but he looked stunning good last season in the CL when I think he was 16. The guy is quick, direct, great positional sense, strong (even if he is small) and incredibly tricky.
As I am typing this he just laid the ball of in a sublime fashion for a shot. I guess it is a matter of time but I think he is going to world class and soon. Have never seen talent like that in someone so young. Shame he isn't one of ours :p
Any chance of a mod creating this as a seperate thread. Would like to know peoples thoughts on this, he just got his second goal with a nicely taken half volley.

Wilshere - yeah absolute class player, top potential. The thing is he's just not what Arsenal need right now, they need some tougher baller winners to come through the ranks, leaders. But he looks like being a hell of a player :handshake:

What a player he could turn out to be!.. so composed for his age, between him and Vela, Arsenal have a reason to be excited about the future.

Cheers mate :handshake:
From what I've seen of Wilshere, he looks like a fantastic prospect, even better than Fabregas. His short passing game is second to none IMO and for a player that young it is very very impressive. He's a bit short on build though and maybe that's his main weakness. But on a pure technical aspect, he is a fantastic talent in the waiting for sure. He could even be promoted by Wenger this season if he progresses as expected.
Next star in waiting in Wenger's unlimited armada of young talents. :handshake:

Just got back from the match an hour ago and thought he looked quality, another player that looked good was PSG number 10
Don't think anybody could disagree. He looks a fucking amazing player. At his age to have that ability is incredible. He will be a massive star. Glimpses of Messi in him

Cannot think of a better player at his age right now. He will be a huge star no doubt, hyped up tenfold by the press. I expect Money Citeh to make a bid fairly soon.

Sessegnon. MOTM in that game. He was linked with us and a few others, just prior to signing a new deal. Funny that.
