Funny as fuck.
What a disgrace Neville is for scoring in the wrong net.
I wonder if Robinson actually trains, he's so out of shape its staggering
The ball bobbled over his foot, wasn't his fault was it. He did well aside from that.
to be fair, it bobbled horrendously, looped right over his foot poor fucker.
The real culprit was shagger Neville. You never, ever hit a back pass in the direction of the goal. Ever. You should always pass it so that if the keep misses it, it goes wide. Fuckin manc wanker.

You can't blame either Neville or Robinson for the goal, it was a freak pure & simple.
you can always blame a bitter manc

Being uber-picky you could blame Neville (yeah! lets! :whatever: ) for breaking the age old adage "always pass it back wide of the goal" JUST IN CASE! Unlucky Neville, you bum-fluffed riddled biff!

It is a GK's responsibility to push down the divets when the ball is out of play. Clearly Robinson didn't do that so the goal is entirely his fault :handshake:
any one have a video, been looking for it can't find it...

I could never get bored of blaming Gary Neville.

love the idea...
but robinson is fat and slow and not worthy of being enslang nr.1. first goal could easilly have been pinned partly on his as well for standing way of the line...

IMO it is robinsons fault - fair enough it took one hell of a bobble, but it was only a bobble. Not like Flowers when it jumped up over his shoulder. I reckon Robinson has take a fairly wild swing and took his eye off the ball.
Can only one person take the blame?
Looked like a double cock-up from where I've seen it.
Neville shouldn't have passed towards goal like that, and Robinson shouldn't have closed his eyes and swung like Happy Gilmour.
Other than that, well done England!

That pitch was a disgrace though. I was surprised that ball bobbled last night. Neville passed it back as if he'd got all the time in the world, the prat.:haha:

It was just a freak of a goal.
Robinson was not at fault for his swing-and-a-miss, you can keep your eye on the ball, but if it flicks up like it did last night, mid-swing, there is nothing he could do. Although am I the only one that thought he may have got to it, if he turned round, instead of looking all shocked? He should have caught the ball anyway from the corner, instead of opting to punch it.
As for Gary Neville, well as a rule of thumb, that I was taught - even as a child - was never pass a ball back to the keeper in between the sticks.
Of course Robinson is to blame, but so are Neville.
Robinson didn`t have to try and blast it, a controlled hit would have been enough.
And for Neviile passing towards the goal, he should have done it, but on this level you would think the goalie would able to hit a ball.
Hmmm. not so sure, he had a croation bearing down on him and many other croatians in the vicinity. He had to clear his lines basically which meant hoofing it.
As for missing the ball, it has already been comprehensibly explained that the ball looped over this foot, it was a freak induced by the pitch. It made him look a prat but he can't really, reall be blamed for it.

I have to agree it is really easy to come up with alternative actions for him in hindsight but in reality in that situation nearly all keepers would go for the hoof. The bobble was at just the wrong time for him, not much he could do about it.

Although, was the divot around the area where he kicks the balls out?
You know the way that keepers kick the ground to raise the ball? :source:
it was robinsosn fault, he even said the that he knew three were holes in this aeria, where he takes his goal kicks, the goalie must know his turf...
as for blaiming neville as much as i want to, i can't, it was a simple back pass, witch the goalie should have cleared he did nothing wrong...

He has to take some of the blame as he had time to control it the hoof it - it was fucking funny to watch - other than that Robinson was the best English player on the pitch so it's a bit harsh calling for his head.

And the other problem with callling for his head is that he is, worryingly, the best English goalkeeper.

sorry but i think he's fat and slow, just my opinion, he's got no jump power, he doesn't reach long, he's a safe keeper cause he doesn't make many mistakes, but he doesn't produce much more than what expeced of him either, but he's a a terrible start of this season an has made some costly errors, and at the start of the season James has been twice the keeper he is, but jame is abit like garcia, frustrating at times but the he pulls of the magic save, something robbo is uncapable of, and when robbos flaws have been exposed james would be a better choice (not saying he's good ennough just that he's better)...
lets hope for england you have better ones in youth teams, cause it doesn't look good for the future right now...

Are you writing off Carson?
Are you writing off Carson?
no, but he hasn't prooved me wrong either, he will not get his break at liverpool, reina is and will be the nr.1 for benitez, so he has to work wonder to get a break...
haven't seen enough of him to tell you if he will make it at the highest level, remember having high hopes for kirkland and look at him now...
and there will be a long time befor carson is given an england nr.1 run...

Fair enough, the jury's definitely still out on Carson.
As for your comments on Reina, Benitez would axe Reina tomorrow if he thought had a better replacement, as he would any player in any position. There's no sentiment with him, he's ruthless.

i agre with that, but i think reina hasto do some major cock up befor being out of favour with benitez, he seems to value his contribution in kicking up the defence and distribution more highly than most on here do, i belive...
but he would definetly kick him out if he found something better...

I know exactly what you mean but funnily enough I don't see it that way at all. I mean, I think you're right about Reina's abilities and I'm sure Rafa appreciates them but I think with him it's the little things he looks at. One big cock-up on its own changes nothing since all keepers make them. An accumulation of small errors and Rafa will make a move for someone he thinks is a better keeper. I bet has has a shortlist already of who he would buy if they became available and/or the need arose.
i'm sure he has :D
the man just loves football, he said after a few games that the league could be won on 84 points this year, and i don't think it's a shot in the blue, i actually think that i looks at it like a geme of chess, or more say poker, where he calculates odds, i think he spends his quite night's in bed with a note pad calculating the season in advansed :D
if there were nerds if football, his name would be in the dictionary if youl'd look it up :D

100% agree with your last paragraph, but James as a goal keeper just makes me nervous. God knows how his defenders feel.

Funniest moment for a long time. Dont rate him anyways
If Kirkland or Carson had a run of games for the last year they would be No.1.
