Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster has been withdrawn from the England squad that faces Holland on Wednesday night, with a 'minor injury'. Joe Hart will be drafted in to replace him.

When are these cheating cunts gonna be brought into line FFS? How and why are they allowed to get away with this bullshit? All the fucking time?

I don't think that will surprise anyone, I wouldn't be surprised if there aren't other members of the united squad withdrawn before Wednesday

It's fucking pathetic, isnt it? And truly unbelievable that nobody but nobody stands up to them.

I wonder if Capello is going to make Foster report to england HQ to let their medical team examine him...like they did with Gerrard.

I suspect not.

fucking hell - it does two things for united - keeps him safe with the injury to van der sar, and also gets him away from the spotlight and any 'pressure' following his horrendous display yesterday

Those friendlies are a farce anyway.

Yes, and that's why we should be allowed to withdraw our players too. But we all know we wont.

Why should they get preferential treatment to protect their players?

Because Fergie knows his way around those things whilst we simply play 'by the book' and don't want to be seen as cheaters.

So what? It's a shitty, pointless friendly anyway and why should United care about England?

Right, so we can just withdraw Gerrard then, if we want can we?

The FA will just sit by and let us, will they?

What do you think?

What's supposed to be wrong with him? He played yesterday and he will almost certainly play on Sunday isn't this a similar situation to the Gerrard one? They should make sure he's assessed by the England medical staff.

Of course they should. But it's Man Utd. So they wont.

Yeah, but there are one set of rules for them and one set for everyone else

Un-fucking-believable. Did they actually state what the injury is?

When are these cheating cunts gonna be brought into line FFS? How and why are they allowed to get away with this bullshit? All the fucking time?

Perhaps when Ferguson retires.

Good point. I wonder if Foster had any choice in the matter? You'd think he'd want to play to try and make the World Cup squad.

Typical United.

Yes they are but that's not the point. Ferguson shows nothing but contempt for the powers that be.

Because Fergie knows his way around those things whilst we simply play 'by the book' and don't want to be seen as cheaters.

He doesnt know his way round anything he just plays by his own rules and the FA are too spineless to stand up to him. We have respect for the game.

So what? It's a shitty, pointless friendly anyway and why should United care about England?

They shouldnt have to care but they are obliged to release their players whether it's a minor inconvenience or not.

Didnt Giggs finish with about 50 caps for Wales? Played in his first friendly in the last year of his internatonal career, strange for someone who was SO passionate about playing for his country. He should have had about 150 caps.

The bloke from the FA's statement on sky sports says he was sent back to Manchester so presumably he reported, was assessed and got sent back.

At least I hope thats what happened the cheating cunts

Sounds like Fergie's stuck his finger up to the FA again as a response to that decision not going Utd's way in the Shield.
