i went to the rugby league challenge cup final on saturday, my mate back home had two tickets and by proximity of birth we decided that supporting the warrington wolves against huddersfield was a must, besides not knowing the rules or the players we had a fantastic day out, the third eye screens made the game more exciting and the way they stop the clock so there is no extra time as such is pure genius.
anyway the point i am making is this, the fans were all tanked up proper and you could take your drinks to your seats and watch the game,
nearly everyone i saw were steaming or getting that way but there was no animosity no Leary rants, and before anyone says rugby league fans are of a different mentality let me say there was quite a few lfc shirts in the crowd a lot of the lads present went to anfield on a regular basis and also leeds united shirts were also present, so why was there no tension no "lets keep a way from that lot mentality" it was very strange but nice experience,
my thought on it for what its worth is that these fans were not treated like animals and the police and stewards were very courteous at all times, strange, anyway cmon you wolves
