I thought Cisse's was hard to watch, not compared to that!
Fuck! This guy (the one who made the bad tackle) should be banned for life. :shake: He deliberately meant it.

I really don't think he did. It was a shocking challenge though.

Shocking. Meant to be a prospect too, that Alex Witsel. That is horrendous.
Is it me or are we seeing these kind of tackles and injuries much more often these days?

No way! Coming with his foot like that isn't mean to be a 'tackle' but an aggression. For a professional footballer to come and 'block the ball' like that is a disgrace, this is way too dangerous. Either opt out of it (the guy was going nowhere but putting the ball into touch' or just try to nick the ball.

Intent or not, the challenge was so reckless that an injury like that is always possible.
I really think unpaid 12 month bans should be mandatory when a player makes such a reckless challenge. That would soon stop them.
Steven Darfour had something to say on it, something like "Whatever Anderlecht are allowed to do, we are allowed to do". Fucking cunt, he needs a 3 match ban too.
:rash:
he's not even looking at the player mate. He's trying to block the ball.

He meant it. Not to break his leg, but to let him no he's in a game.
