'Bored' Thierry Henry slams disorganised France coach Raymond Domenech

Thierry Henry has launched an astonishing broadside on France coach Raymond Domenech, saying that Les Bleus are "bored" in training and are lost on the pitch with "no style" or "guidelines".

The Barcelona striker, who is France's record goalscorer with 49 goals in 112 appearances, unleashed his withering attack at the national team's training camp last Friday.

"Coach, we have something to tell you, I am speaking in the name of the squad," he told Le Parisien newspaper. "We are getting bored during your training sessions. In 12 years with the French team, I have never been in such a situation.

"We do not know how to play, where to be on the pitch, how to organise. We do not know what to do. We have no style, no guidelines. It is not working.''

The French federation declined to comment on the matter.

Despite his controversial comments Henry was picked to face Romania the following day and put his side ahead only for France to be pegged back by a Julien Escude own goal. The former Arsenal captain then missed several chances including one effort which came back off the bar.

The 1-1 draw with Romania leaves Domenech's side trailing Serbia, their Group Seven opponents on Wednesday night, by four points and looking destined for the World Cup playoffs rather than automatic qualification.

Coming from Henry the comments are a serious blow to the authority of Domenech, who has enjoyed the full support of the French Football Federation despite tumbling out of Euro2008 at the group stage.

Its a real shame with france, they have the team, but dont perform as well as they should.

Kinda like England were like few years ago.

Retard or not, Henry should have shut his mouth off.

I don't think so - if the manager is genuinely harming you r chances and all the players are agreed someone bullet proof like him is doing the right thing to bring it to bring it up IMO.

The french fa seem to worship domenech so im not surprised that Henry gone public with this. If im not mistaken a couple of french players have already said that they would not play for domenech?

                        He's right, Domenech is hopeless.
                        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
