I don't think Humphrey did particularly well but Bernie didn't come out of it very well either. He looks like the two faced, egocentric, moral free, money grabbing prick we all know he is.

I think Humphreys has been lucky to land a gig like that being the lead host of one of the BBC's flagship sport programmes. But he comes across as a little young and inexperienced. He lacks the presence and authority that a more senior presenter might have brought to the programme. I am not surprised that some viewers don't feel comfortable watching him.
While Bernie didn't exactly look at ease to begin with he is quite experienced at being put on the spot like that, knows how to fight back and soon had the upper hand in that interview.
What that internet clip does not show however is what was said after Bernie leaves when they said:
EJ: He was the one making us feel uncomfortable rather than the other way around.
JH: I feel like I've just been eaten. I feel like I've just been eaten.
