Johnson named player of September
Everton striker Andy Johnson has been rewarded for a fine start to the season by winning the Barclays player of the month award for September.
The 25-year-old scored four goals in as many games in September and has claimed six goals so far this campaign.
"The boys have been fantastic and have created so many chances for me," he told BBC Radio Five Live.
"I want to dedicate the award to them and manager David Moyes for all the support I have had."

Everton are currently enjoying an unbeaten start to the season and are fifth in the table.
Johnson's fine recent form had many tipping him to play a significant part for England in their recent Euro 2008 qualifiers against Macedonia.
He was forced to pull out of Steve McClaren's squad with a hamstring injury and in his absence, England picked up just one point over both games.
"I was gutted to miss out on England," he said.
"I won't comment on what went on over the last two matches because I wasn't there.
"I was upset for the lads after the results, but people must understand that England are not invincible, they will not win every match.
"But if people get behind us rather than criticising us, things will be better."
