A reporter on talksport this morning said he was at a function last night, and was told by the best possible source that Gold was completing his takeover and his first move is to replace Zola with Mark Hughes.
I'd feel a bit sorry for Zola really if that's true. He's had to deal with a lot of the same shit as Rafa has - shit owners, lack of funds, terrible injury list. You'd have thought they might at least give him some time to turn things around under new owners. Plus I like Zola and I think Hughes is a twat so...

Agree with all of that (especially the end).
Zola did well last season under difficult circumstances.
This year he's had even more restrictions and an horrendous injury list.
If true I think Zola will move on and become a top coach in a few years.
Gold and Sullivan have taken over.
They should stick with Zola and give him money to spend. He's had all his best players getting injured, no money to spend yet the players give it their all for him. If he had the money to bring in a couple of quality players he would do well for them
But same time if they hire Hughes then we don't have to worry about the Yanks going for him

If Hughes goes there, what're the odds on Bellamy being a West Ham player again by the end of January?!

Zola will stay....
he's (one of) the best motivator, IMO.
