What do AF and AW do that RB doesn't?

When we compare the teams of the Arse and mancs to ours on paper there are strengths and weaknesses for all. Mancs Forward line is arguably the best, our midfield same, and the arse, well they have Henry.

Yet even when Fergie puts out a team full of youngsters or has been depleted with injuries, the team still plays attacking football. The players gel. Same at Arsenal...Fluid attacking football.

Yet at Liverpool, we sit back. Do nothing. create nothing. Finish nothing. We have the best midfield on paper yet they cant take initiative and dictate a game.

    Do we lack passion?

What the hell do Wenger and Ferguson do that Benitez doesn't?

I think at manchester the players are scared ****less of AF. And at Arsenal Wenger has some kind of devine status where he is worshipped. But do our players fear/respect Benitez. Does he have the same commitment from his charges that the other managers have?

I get the impression that Rafa rules with an iron fist so I don't believe discipline is poor at the club.

However the rumours of a Rafa vs players rift may not be far off the truth

There is certainly something wrong at the club. Wenger and Fergie rotate as well but no matter who they bring in their teams still play in the same style and pattern. We just look like we have no clue and no idea of what we are meant to be doing at the minute, no matter who plays.

they do rotate yes but each player seems to give so much in games that I expect them to be tired. Dont tell me that Liverpool players have been putting in sooooo much effort in games that they are shattered.

Plus players seem to get a good run.

The likes of Bellers / Crouch and any other often rotated player never get into a groove.

I agree totally mate. Whenever Chelsea, Arsenal or United rotate players they just seem to slot in perfectly to the overall style of play and the team continues on. They seem to have a definite idea of what they are supposed to be doing. Our lot yesterday had no pattern or style to their play. As you say, dropping players like Crouch or Bellamy after they have done well can't help.

I watched Utd last week against Wigan. One nil down at half time, you know whats coming. I then saw Wigan torn apart.

Liverpool yesterday did nothing to stand up and be counted, almost as if it were a case of "oh well, we can write this one off"

                It's simple. Better players.

I doubt its that. For me its lack of passion. Clearly somethings not not right at the club. You could see that yesterday in our play.
I don't think ive ever felt so gutted after a game/performance like that.

same for me mate. talent wise, our team IS better than the mancs, by some way. What disgusted me was the lack of effort, fight and desire from our players. United were nothing special at all, yet we let them look comfortable.

Our only player who could hold his head up imo was Momo.

But ffs people, yes we have lost 4 games, but they have all been tough away games. Don't get me wrong, i'm not happy with getting 0 points from them, but I bet we have never had such a tough start to a premiership season.

It's not all doom and gloom from where i'm sitting.

maybe there is a rift, possible spanish players getting a break, SG fed up with playing on the right...

I could accept that if we had put in good enough performances to say we where even unlucky in those games.

Its the performances that just arn't good enough

It`s not the fact we are losing thats pissing me off mate, its the lack of fight we shown. I will never accept that from a liverpool team. We were the same 1st half against blackburn and it has to stop now. I can accept poor performances, but not lack of effort
