forced makalele and turam out of international retirement, told makalele that he would use fifa law to prevent him from playing for chelsea if he didn't play for his country...
and now he's called up Gonzalo Higuain, a player that last week told the press that he still hadn't decided weather or not he would play for argentina or france, trying to force his hands...

Higuain can't even speak French apparently. He just holds a French passport because he was born there while his old man was playing hid club footie in France.
In other words he's about as French as fucking Roast Beef.
Doubt he'll play for France.

I hope he turns them down and plays for Argentina. On footy manager 2007 he can't be called into the argentinian squad even though he has duel nationality and hasn't been capped.

Gonzalo Higuain move to Argie at 10 months both his parents are Argie cant speak a word of French is thinking about playing for france cause of his passport and when he moves to Europe he wont be classed as a Foreigner in the FIFA rules on non European players

I don't see the problem here. It's up to Higuain. Domenech is just doing what's best for his side.

my guess is that this is done with out consulting the player. and if the player refuse to play for them, does he have to give up his french pass?

You're right he's trying to force the player into making a decision and he's obviously hoping he'll be swayed to choose France. The player doesn't have to do it - I remember Hargreaves was being courted by various countries but he'd decided he wanted to play for England so that's what happened.
Basically it's up to the kid himself.
No, the player's French nationality is not dependent on him playing for France.
but i don't know if he can, since he's not been caped by argies, not sure if he can say no to france, and Domenech will defo try and force him with some fifa laws...

Well at least either choice would probably afford him the opportunity of winning something.....unlike his chances if England was one of the two choices :crackoff:

lets hope he gets to choose, but i think Domenech would actually go that far, it wouldn't suprise me. seems to be an opinion in france that he's theirs, and the same in argentina, not like it's a hard desicion for the lad, french is for poofs...
he will get picked for the next argie national game, after his 2 goals in the super classico he most certainly will, him and palacio are argie future strikers...
