It's real fake.

I used to watch it when the Rock was on. But ever since he left it has gone down the shitter.

Still, whenever I flick channels and Stacey Keibler or any other divas are on then I like to watch. ;)

Not seen it in years, and years. However, I seem to remember a lady by the name of Torry Wilson (I think) is she still around, because she was rather nice.

How many times has Vince Mcmahon (sp?) "lost" and "re-won" his company now? :p

LFCman

Cacodemon - I don't think she is, well I haven't seen her on for a while. And yes, she is rather nice. ;)

That wrestling nonsense is the biggest joke ever. It's laughable. Why so many supposedly 'normal people' watch that muck is a total mystery to me.

Does anyone know why people watch it?

For the T & A.... obviously, unless you're gay and like abnormally large men....

Yep but still highly skilled.

Benny told me that.

I know f*ck all about wrestling really except the names of them all. Also that it bores me.

T & A used to be a good reason, there still are a few hot girls on there, and The Rock did hilarious interviews.

Now its just quite shyte.

"I got your medals!.......WHAT?"

That Stone Cold Steve Austin rant to kurt angle was the only bit of wrestling I've watched since ITV and Dickie Davis stopped covering it. It was VERY funny though. What?:haha:

WWE was superb until the Rock & Austin left.

Since then it has become too predictable imo.

The old days was the best when you had hogan v warrior, Bret "The Hitman" Hart v British Bulldog, Undertaker v Jake "The Snake" Roberts

:handshake:

it's just mindless entertainment,really...

tho its true that some people take it way too seriously:D

i remember watching Letterman once when The Rock wsa his guest; he asked him :

"whats the biggest mistake that a young wrestler might mak when he's just starting out?"

The Rock's answer was a bloody classic : "that he thinks he's actually going to hit someone"

:haha:

It's for losers

Redlife

My housemates and I used to watch it when we were at uni. The 'glory days' of Stone Cold and The Rock. We used to piss ourselves at the ludicrous storylines and funny catchphrases. It's an accepted fact that we were a right bunch of losers.

There's an element of reality to it, in that they do jump off the top of cages and throw each other about, of course. The bouts and moves are preplanned and rehearsed, but the injuries (and occasional deaths) are real.

There's a really good documentary called 'Beyond The Mat' which describes some of the dangerous, seedier sides of the 'industry'.

If you have to watch wrasslin', N.W.A. T.N.A. may be a better choice. They're trying to stay away from the bizarre non-wrestling angles.
