Looks a bit good. Mind you, from what I've read they've gone a bit Leeds plc and basically scraped in anything they could to finance it. Sure there's a good business model behind it but you never know, they could come to regret it in a few years. I'm not jealous of it - I want to stay at anfield and the longer the inevitable move is held off the happier I am.

Hmmmmm......stay at Anfield or have wonderful new stadium like Ashburton Grove? The second option for me. Every time.

my mate went to both days and says the stadium is absolutely immense.

While I would ideally like to stay at Anfield, the realities of modern football are that to compete over the long terms (say the next 10 years) we need to generate a lot more revenue. The obvious way is to have a bigger ground.

Big stadium or not. The place was still like a library for Dennis' day.

Were you there? If the impression is from the TV then I will reserve judgement as in my experience channel 5 have the magical ability to have their effects mics either far to loud or all but off. I saw a few people in the pub after the game who had been there and they said it was a great.

Unfortunately I didn't fancy coming from Australia to watch it. But I could hear when they DID sing. But it was still like a library like Highbury is most of the time.
