    Was that taken in Washington Park in NYC? Everyone there gets high. More drug money for them. And if you had to pay rent in NYC, you'd go for a dollar as well.

              Not everything is rent controlled. Finding a decent place up there is a nightmare unless you make a lot of money. And then all you get is a small room with a potty. Love the subway though.

                  So would I. Looked around for about a month, but the pay for nurses is ****, as it is everywhere and a place to live would cost me my monthly salary. Need to be rich to live there or not mind living with rats and roaches. And have no desire to live in Jersey. Staying in the South where it's warm and cheaper.

                    Yeah, my point was don't live on the island. Brooklyn is way cheaper, and but a train ride away.

                    Even in Manhattan there are some cheap places, albeit not too salubrious. I lived in a ****pit up near Morningside Heights for a while. Shared my pad with some scurrying little nuclear proofs, but it was convenient to get downtown on the express.

                    Obviously if you try to get a place on 34th and Park or something you'll need zoo dollars.
