I absolutely love it, I watch it religiously, it's incredibly competitive, very strategic (though not all believe that) & quite competitive too.
For me it's like watching a real life version of Bloodsport, I just love watching the varied nature & styles of the competitors.
So anyone else on here watch it?
It's good but sometimes it gets a bit boring IMO when they start grappeling etc. I like the K1 tournaments. Now they are entertaining!

See, I used to think the grappling & wrestling was boring, now I find it just as entertaining.
I've started to watch that side of it a lot more in depth, & it really is incredible, both fighter's are simultaneously trying to submit each other, whilst combatting a submission attempt, & both are thinking at least one move ahead constantly.
I still love watching the stand up side of it though, & seeing a flying knee connect with a jaw or a cheekbone is superb.
Indeed it is. :D
What I found interesting was when in K1 a few years ago an out and out boxer fought an out and out kickboxer. The boxer tried to throw all his punches but as soon as he got close in the kickboxer knocked him out with a kick to the side of the head. :p
Do you do any martial arts yourself?

i enjoy the UFC not as much as boxing though.
rich franklin, chuck lidell and matt hughes are some of the best to watch.
it can get a bit boring when they start grapling though.
I Find it boring I'm afraid.

I think it's shite. Two blokes circle each other for ages and then have a big lycra clad gay fumble on the floor for ages. If I'm going to see no hold barred fighting with hardly any rules, I want to see things like the final fight in Kickboxer.
Then you are looking for K1 mate.
While it has rules, it is awesome because all styles can also fight each other. The tournaments in Japan are huge. 100,000 people and they do a whole tournament in a day. None of this nonsense with boxers fighting once every blue moon.
