Well, we've got scouts at the U19 Championship, so it's possible we've had a look at him.
God knows, we could do with a striker.

I agree, even at Youth Level we are lacking quality strikers. Lindfield looks Good, but with Calliste leaving there is a gap to be filled

Very true. Calliste was gash IMO, it's great to see Lindfield has been promoted to the ressies but hopefully we do get someone else. Besian Idrizaj has played mostly as a striker for us so far too and he looks handy. I'm not sure whether Rafa intends to use him as a striker long-term, but in any case we are as you say definitely short of younger players up top.

By all accounts, he's been woeful.

By all accounts, he's been woeful.
Well considering it was his first season in English football, he had some injury problems, and he's been played in an unfamiliar position, I think he's done ok. He struggled with the pace and physicality of the English game initially but he showed some promise in the latter stages of the season. I wouldn't tip him for the big time by any means, but 'woeful' is a tad harsh on the lad. Far better than Calliste that's for sure.
Old Swan's finest has been trawling the net I see! How'ya doin' squire?
I haven't checked the links out yet byt is this the lad that went to the world cup? I seem to remember they brought him on as sub in one of the games and I noticed he looked useful. Slim fella with longish hair?
Might be getting ahead of meself here - I'd better check the links...
I'm Fine Howard , how's yourself? Is the long haired fella you're thinking about Ukranianian instead of Polish? Artem Milevsky came on for them and looked fairly useful and I think there was a fairly tentative link with Liverpool before the World Cup started

Alright LindsayP mate. Things are good my end thanx.
Yes! That's the lad I'm on about. Polish - Ukranian - all the same to me :o
Didn't know he'd been tentatively linked to us though - but I thought he looked 'useful'.
