    on the back of the recent debates / discussions on the hierarchy ,if you cut through all the smoke and mirrors

    these are the facts and cannot be dressed up any other way

    Given all the bold statements made over the past few months by Hicks, Purslow et al, thought it'd be worthwhile to keep an eye on this:

    Transfers 2010.

    Total Profit so far: £19.35m


    7 Out: Dossena £4.7m, Voronin £1.8m, Mihaylov £1.5m Yossi £5.5m, San Jose £2.6m, Duran £0, Insua £5.0m (Total: £21.1m)


    3 In: Maxi £0, Shelvey £1.75m, Jova £0 (Total: £1.75m)

              Surely we paid a decent signing on fee for Milan and Maxi. Should be considered as equivalent to a purchase fee really. Would we have had to payoff any of the leavers?

                              Yes, it sort of shows how financing a club and a team is not simply adding and subtracting sale fees.
