Borussia M'bach vs Liverpool Match Thread

We play these lads on Sunday 1pm kick off uk time.

From another site:
-------------------------------

Roy Hodgson has confirmed Joe Cole will make his Liverpool debut and rumours are Suso has gone with the first team as well.

Liverpool's No.10 will play some part of the match which is a repeat of the 1977 European Cup final.

The Reds boss also confirmed Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher will also be given their first outing of pre-season.

"Yes they will be involved," Hodgson told Liverpoolfc.tv.

"It's a friendly game so I can control the amount of time they play.

"In competitive games we only have three substitutes to use, so it's very dangerous to put players on the field who don't have 90 minutes in their legs."
------------------------

Suso looks special talent

Yeah should be good, great to see new faces the team, Suso is only 16 he seriously must be turning heads to be called up this soon, great to hear we have a genuine special talent coming through, hope he materializes.

RT @aliverpoolthing: Seems that Luis Fernandez 'Suso' impressed so much that he was called up to train with senior team. Kid is just16 #LFC

Not according to reports, no. Everyone else is though, bar the Spanish and Dutch lads.

LFC TV are showing the game in full at 4pm and 8pm on Sunday.

Firstrow.net will hopefully have a live stream.

Be good to see Carra, Gerrard etc back in action and Joe Cole's debut.

For those who haven't heard of Suso - I think he's only 16 and we got him from Cadiz. The guy is fucking quality, absolutely amazing talent. Saw him play in a few reserve games in the last few weeks and I was shocked to find out he was only 16. This guy is a bigger talent than Pacheco IMO and seems quite strong. He's a midfielder/playmaker. Great passer and very skillful. He didn't play for the reserves today either.

I suppose. Looks like he could potentially be more skillful than him though. Suso is an amazing passer - I'm still so shocked someone of that age can be that good a passer. Apprarently he has an amazing shot too from distance too.

Based on that Wrexham clip his passing is indeed ace. Short and long, good vision and spots a pass early, and makes time for himself under pressure. Like I've said before, I got carried away by Le Tallec's wonder show against Crewe so I refuse to get ahead of myself...

kelly and n'gog have both played quite a bit and made their points on the field this preseason.

other people need those minutes to get fit and try to show something to hodgson.
