its a shame. but its a problem as those with the ability dont usually get involved.

it then exposes those who have the desire as not having the skill

its a difficult problem to address.

i hope they do even though i dont believe in them as they stand.

i dont forget that your all volunteers.

it was implied in what i said. perhaps i should have made it more explicit for you.

i dont know why people i think would make a better job dont make that commitment. It may be apathy it may be work it could be lots of things.

Its a problem in most pressure groups of this sort though i imagine.

at the end of the day, the club is for sale and lets hope it gets sold sooner rather than later..... we can protest all we want but i would prefer to concentrate on supporting the team..... i personally feel that all the speculation and media med-slinging took some of the focus off the football over the last 12 months and as a consequence the team suffered and certain players suffered.....

look at the positives - we have super players in REINA, AGGER, JOHNSON, CARRAGHER, MASCHERANO, GERRARD, KUYT, TORRES and now also COLE...... we have players with ability that could turn into super players under the direction and motivation of a new manager such as MAXI RODRIGUEZ, AQUILANI, BABEL, JOVANOVIC and possibly even RIERA............. and we have super young prospects like PACHECO, NGOG, AYALA, KELLY, DARBY, SHELVEY and now also WILSON, and some cracking players a little younger as well like LDV, INCE, ECCLESTON, STERRLING


i think roy is going to drill it into the players to just concentrate on football.....come on REDMEN

You forget, they're all volunteers...unqualified for the roles which they find themselves in, like fish out of water (something they accuse Purslow of, by the way)...yet they believe that they alone can save us...the even have a nickname for our chief exec...they are looking to hound a man who seems to be trying to get rid of the American's for us in Broughton, for no real reason as far as i can see...so why shouldn't we all get behind them...maybe we can find a nickname for Broughton as well?

Yes, let's try and have a positive vibe for now. New manager, Gerrard stays, Cole signed, Wilson signed, Degen and Riera will leave. Feels great so far.

It must be sad to allways see things so negative as some do here. As allways you either see the glass as half full or as half empty. I know which I prefer...

I have to be honest I am a little uneasy about how i am dealing with Merlboo.

to his credit he is passionate about the club, and obviously wants to get involved and make a positive impact on the club and the area.

However the negatives are that he wont listen to anyone, he belittles everyone who doesnt agree, he is misguided in the impact of his actions.

To quote the man himself, it may be a bit blunt but it needed saying.
