Jamie Redknapp is an embarrasment- Icon Magazine
http://www.iconmagazine.co.uk/interviews_lampard.html
It seems Redknapp fanices himself a media mogul these days, what with his stunning ineptitude as a pundit on Sky and his launch of Icon Magazine from "Redknapp Publishing," which glorifies the side of football that the average fan has come to loathe. He's only released 8 or so issues of this 'magazine' since its launched in 2005.
I challenge you to read this interview with Lampard without getting sick all over your computer
Redknapp is an embarrassment and I wish he would stop associating himself with Liverpool Football Club

Saw that earlier. It is indeed a total, total embarrassment.
What kind of world do these fucked up weirdos live in?
Check out the homepage and the laughable (not to mention homoerotic) images of certain footballers.

Fuck. Ing. Hell.

Some pretty homoerotic images there, I think Redders fancies some of these guys
You notice who agrees to do the interviews- dickheads across the board
Owen, Lampard, Gallas, Ferdinand, Drogba.... bunch of flash ego maniacs
edit: forgot ediur "denim Stud jacket" Gudjohnson
looking at the photoshoots i'm surprised these guys made it through without jizzing on themselves, they are so turned on by looking at themselves
special mention for the lampard shot in the turtle neck, what a dickhead

I can't read the interview with Fat Fwank. Text is too small. Shame.

Actually it'd be interesting to see what the ABC circulation figures for this pish is. Issues 1 & 2 sold out, apparently.
EDIT - No mention of it in the ABC figures

He does it with Tim Sherwood, he was on Soccer AM one morning saying it.
They only sell to other footballers and corporate company's. :whatever:
Maybe this is why he licks all their asses on SKY
Total wanker just like his media whore Dad :whatever::whatever::whatever::whatever::whatever:

Prima donna fucks, head up their own arse.
Don't think you would get the likes of Carragher, Gary Neville and co at that shite.
Footballers should be just that - footballers.
An embarrassment to the so-called 'beautiful game'.

Arguably people should only care about what they do on the pitch.

Redders is having a laugh! No doubt Rio, Frak Drogba et al will buy enough issues to keep circulation going for a bit. It does seem a very ego driven mag/interviews.

oh my god how gay is that site! all the over-hyped egos of the day once again playing up to their celebrity! it goes to show just how out of touch some footballers have become with the average fan!

Only further proves how over-blown and pathetic a lot of professional football has become, I only hope that the LFC players give it an extremely wide berth.

Those "Rio" photo's....... I'm sorry, but what kind of person would you have to be to look at photo's of yourself like that and not be totally embarrassed.
I genuinely cannot stop myself from laughing!
You could see him camera hunting during the cup final celebrations…. A one point he was about to hold up the cup for a “pose” when somebody put a jesters hat on him… he just flung it off in disgust before resuming the pose, teeth gritted etc etc …..
Somebody just give the lad a mirror…..

it's hilarious that this is an honest effort by redknapp. it seems more like a spoof of greedy deluded footballers. the photos are ridiculous, the lampard interview is disgusting- seems he worships his fat cousin and thinks everyone else should too. talk about a couple of thick bastards who were born into the right situation, they have certainly made the most of it.
thanks to football365 more people are aware of this magazine and are laughing along with us at a bloke that has lost all sense of reality

'As I sat by the window in Scalini, our family's favourite restaurant, Frank strolled in looking every inch the footballing icon he is. Even though he looked immaculate in his sharp tailored suit, it was his beaming smile that instantly caught the eye. That afternoon's lunch was different from any of those we've had before and despite our close relationship, I even felt a little bit nervous.'

Its absolutely disgraceful. Who the hell do these fcukers think they are? Redknapp is a sycophantic prick who needs to be told whats what. This is NOT what football is about.

That interview is one of the funniest things I've ever read.
The magazine's founders... Tim Sherwood, Louise and Jame Redknapp.
It's like when Mailer co-launched The Village Voice, only with cretins instead.
