Doesn't really matter what the truth of the matter with the WTC is. 8 years of war can not be altered nor the future effects.

The future is always somewhat changeable, but the past events cant be changed.

But the truth always matters, not least for the victims of 911, and for the accountability of politicians.

It is kind of like saying that an investigation in to the tragedy of the 96 doesn't really matter, because the effects have already taken place... (with no further comparison intended.)

I saw an interview a few years back where a leading explosive expert/scientist said something along those lines. If i remember right he said that when explosion happened you could see it was caused by thermite due to the way it was burning and the burning after the planes had it. He also said the remains of the building had traces of thermite all over it.

We will never know the truth even though the evidence is all over the place just like the kennedy shooting.

I've also seen an interview by the guy who runs the worlds largest demolition company, saying that it would be impossible to bring down with explosives without the whole world knowing.

A: You'd need to wrap the explosives.
B: You'd never get them in the building without someone noticing.
C: The Airoplane would have set them off.

The main "Thermite" argument is the spray of molten metal that can be seen pouring out the side of the building shortly before it collapsed. Its just melting metal, after the towers had collapsed, months later, they found a pool of molten metal. Thats what happens when you burn metal inside concrete. It acts like a furnace.

Thermite? Bah. I prefer the idea there were loads of tiny bugs which simultaneously chowed on all the supports.

Anyone got a linky to a decent rebuttal of the whole 'it was a demolition' ting?

I've just seen enough footage etc to think for myself.

My thought is -

"If anyone thinks that someone was able to wire that place up for demolition, then crash a jet into it without setting the whole thing off, and then bring it down without the usual blowing out etc you get from a demolition.. they're nuts."

I think there is another cover up, but masking the substandard building techniques used rather than the controlled demolition theory.
