Just a bit of fun here.... I got thinking, having read so much this week about Carra, and then seeing another thread talking about THAT Istanbul final.

Obviously we were all KT slags at that time so we never did a proper MOM thread. If you can remember, who was your man of the match?

We had some great performances and it would be interesting to see your top 3 - very very difficult to separate the top 2 but I will just give it to Carra.

Mine would be:

2. Gerrard

3. Dudek

Really hard to split Gerrard and Carra, but Stevie getting that first goal just tips it in his favour for me.

I think Carra edges it because of the number of times he saved our asses, and practically did the splits trying in vain to stop their second and third goals.

Im guna stick the DVD on now. What an amazing match. Makes me sad to think stevie was mid 20s then, now he's in his 30's. Time flies, eh?
