He tried to buy it but he's so small he couldn't reach the table in the boardroom.

Maybe the relationship between the two clubs might improve a bit now.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I was surprised Sammy didn't stay when Rafa came in as he's obviously a good coach and speaks both fluent Scouse and Spanish. If he had have stayed then Alex Miller wouldn't have been on the bench for the past three seasons but if the Scot takes over from Stevie Heighway then we must be getting another coach in.

According to Balague he felt he needed to move on to gain more experience as he realised he was the same age as Rafa.
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I'm glad he's been given the chance at Bolton to prove himself although they're pretty big shoes to fill! I bet Phil Brown is kicking himself though...

It is a big challenge. I hope it works out for him.

I think big Sam picked a good time to go as he would need to replace a good number of players in the summer as Speed/Campo etc are getting a bit old and they probably need another centreback. It could be a bit of a poisened chalice for Sammy Lee, but I wish him well. Maybe we will see an evolution in the type of football they play.

Fair play I'd like to see Sammy do well, all the players loved him at LFC and when he was England coach

I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

                            Speed Player coach now.

I can see them struggle in the league next year. Sad to say but maybe Sammy wont last the season, you can see this from past experiences with Les Reid this year at Charlton

I'm not really sure that you can draw such an easy analogy. For a start Reid was ridiculously arrogant and seemed unwilling to bring in the people necessary around him. I think that the promotion of Speed, assuming they have a good relationship, could be very helpful for Sammy. You can never really judge the potential of a coach to be a manager until they have been in the job (well maybe if you have worked under them).
