theyve been very good apart from a dodgy bunch of performances and some dropped pts in december

could all have gone very differently though had it not been for 2 late goals in 2 weeks to save them from defeats at our place and at home to the mancs, credit to them for that spirit

something we saw at times last season and it seems theyve used that as a springboard to better things this season

man utd will probably pip them in the end though, not a popular opinion here but they dropped 7 pts in the first week, had a lot of injuries and suspensions, people thought they were out of it but they bounced back well and are now in the thick of it unlike us, would have thought ppl wouldnt gloat too early considering the history

guess the long drought makes us excited at any hint of good times...

chelsea despite dropping 2 pts yesterday will still be there, they're without nearly a whole team so fair play to them for not falling further behind. they'll get many players back and will play all the top teams at stamford bridge so they'll feel a bit confident even though the gap is 6 now.

They'll win the league this year IMO.

as i expected, united looking like pipping them

crazy how theyve drawn their last 4 games, games which i thought were winnable

            brum(a)
            villa(h)
            wigan(a)
            boro(h)

I expected them to win all those actually but fail in some of these hurdles coming up next

            chelsea(a)
            bolton(a)
            liverpool(h)
            man utd (a

Looks like they could lose 2nd place on this form, chelsea will be level on pts with them if they win their game in hand(albeit a tough one away at spurs)

you have to look at our league form this season with great regret, this would have been our best chance for ages had we been up for it, lookin at how many first teamers utd have had to fit into their team aswell as injuries to their main striker rooney, looking at chelseas turmoil with mourinho etc and now arsenals kids not having the bottle.

            massive opportunity ****ed up

I really think their lack of depth has started to catch up with them. They have a splendid first XI but all of their best players have basically been playing or injured all season with no rest periods. I think along with the Eduardo injury the fact is that they aren't mentally ready for the slogs at the likes of Wigan and have lost the ability to be more direct that they discovered earlier in the season.

Adebayor's goalscoring has definitely dried up. Rosicky's absence has not helped. How much longer will he be out?
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

Adebayour hasnt scored since he's had that geeky haircut.

maybe you are right, think that they just expect teams like Wigan, Brum etc to just let them play their fancy football and roll over. They will have to scrap for every win like we do,
Totally agree about the lack of depth, if Van Persie gets another knock or Adebayor is sent off, they dont have much in the locker. Ok Bentdner is a decent looking player but can he lead the line and score the goals?
