Mick McCarthy and Houllier up for Korea job

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is battling it out with ex-Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier to be South Korea's new coach, according to the Asian country's FA.

KFA president Chung Mong-joon has confirmed a shortlist has been cut to two names and a final decision will be taken in the next few days.

Chung said: "We are about 80% of the way to finishing the process with McCarthy and Houllier the candidates"

He can take Zinedine Kilbane and Ian Harte with them.

    When Yorkshire met Korea.

    A frightening prospect.

Let's hope it happens for sheer comedy value alone.
