The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He really reminds me of Trezeguet and I think he's got the ability to be as good as or possibly better if he develops physically to his full potential. Unlike a few of our recent signings he also "looks like" a Liverpool player if you know what I mean.

Good comparison (and not just cos they look similar).

Hopefully he can become as deadly as Trezeguet was in his prime!!

He knows where the goal is and you can't train that - so he has that bit of angel dust and is a converter of chances. How many shots does he miss? How many gilt-edged chances does he not score from? Not many.

Obviously he isn't the finished article but I think he is a good understudy to Torres, in so much as our priority should be getting a player or two in to help create better chances for our striker to slot home.

(...and a player to improve our defence.)

Shown glimpses that lead me to believe he shouldn't be sent on the first train back to France. The goal against Leeds was very nicely taken and I admit, that swayed me. I didn't think he would have the composure. The Jury is out.

As odd as this makes me feel (I feel like I'm writing this from another universe) he's probably been a better player for us so far than robbie keane. Robbie keane is every inch a player with more spectacular play in his little toe, but for us he missed a hatful of chances for every one he converted. N'gog has been ruthlessly efficient, but also seems to able to pitch in a goal, but then needs the rest of the team to pick up from there. No indication as yet that he can singlehandedly trounce a team the way nando does, but maybe someday

Last night was his best performance, personally i thought he was brilliant. The confidence was gleaming through him and it made him played really well. if he keeps improving at this rate, jesus we have a good player on our hands.

Its not just the goals that i like about him, it is the constant improvement when the ball is at his feet, he is getting better and better at holding the ball up and causing problems for the defence.

Thats the best bit for me, you can see the improvement in him by the week.

He's gradually learning to bash defenders about a bit aswell, he's a completely different player to the one we signed and is still only 20.

He looks a very good finisher and has some lovely skills aswell. I'm sure I read something a few weeks back about him that he wont do interviews because "he hasnt done anything yet" which I thought was great.

I think the quote was that he was turning down interviews specifically from French publications as they wanted to talk to him about how well he was doing etc. As Chris said, he apparently turned them down as he said he didn't believe he'd done anything of note yet, and to come back when he had.

Yep, that was it. With an attitude like that he'll defo go a long way.

                                I like Ngog.

Though he needs to sort out his goal celebrations, prancing around like a fag.

                                Poofter eh?
