The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Lovely little cameo from him today. He looks a totally different player inside the box. He should be played as an impact sub with a strike partner for some time.

He's going to surprise a few people I tell you. When he plays for France U2Xs, he plays in an entirely different way, rather than leading the line he plays more like Anelka, dropping off, linking player, clever 1-2s, working channels, crosses, little dinks into the box etc. All things you see very little of the way we deploy him most of the time and so you might assume he doesn't have to his game. If he bulks up and we find a way to use him in a less restricted role, he'll be fantastic.

He has some pace, he left Bale for dead who then pulled his shorts!

With Torres as his mentor he'll be a world class player!

Very impressive cameo. Disturbed to see/hear so many Reds writing him off. He's a young lad with potential. Ian St.John can go **** himself as well. Should be ashamed of himself. No doubt I'll be attacked for having a pop at a legend but that ****e can only be detrimental to LFC and I care only about LFC, not Ian St.John.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I'll back you, a legend he is but our new younger players need support and confidence!

Alas some people can't put a performance in the context of a players development. Against a big team he's going to struggle holding up the ball, it's not because he's crap it's because he's not ready yet. That he's ready to take the battering and get up and get battered again and get up again is a real good sign and I'm sure once he's filled out he'll pay it back with interest.

Yep. I used to love St John when I was younger but these days he comes across as a xenophobic, sour old man. As an LFC legend he ought to think about what he says.

Aye he's not a Drogba type player who is perfect to lead the line on his own and take/dish out a battering. The point earlier about him being more in the mould of Anelka is a pertinent one. Yet on the whole he has done admirably when asked to play that role. I have high hopes for the lad.

Still not sure what to make of this lad. But he does have *something* about him. Certainly one to keep an eye on.

Have to say I wasn't convinced by Ngog at the start of the Season but by jesus this kids got talent. His development this season has been extraordinary imo.

It was funny to hear Grays silence last night when Ngog ripped the Spurs defence a new one down the left. For me it shows there short comings as pundits, a lack of knowledge and an unwillingness to commit themselves to saying something like this kids going to be special. The best he could do after a few minutes of pandering was ' impact player, yes thats what he is an impact player' he said twice just to reassure himself.
