Every player has a poor run of time one time or the other. It happens to players who play with passion and players who play for money.

It's something people will have to accept regardless of money and it isnt like he's on massive wages. He's only getting what he should be and that too in the richest League in the World.

I'm genuinely not convinced by that argument. I suspect that a lot of top footballers are doing it as a job rather than being driven by passion.

I like him more for the interview. I'm bored with the banal, vacuous, identikit interviews given by most footballers. There isn't a lot of great insight there but at least there is honesty.

much better to hear a player tell the truth.......99% of players are in it for the money.

you get the odd players like carra, giggs, terry etc.... who probably genuinely do love the club they are at and wouldnt move elsewhere for the money.....then you get spineless cunts like robbie keane who has a prepared speech for every new club he joins .......
