You know enough about football to admit that Johnson is a good footballer. Go on, admit he has impressed you. It'll be liberating for you!
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Something tells me the late Sir Bobby and King Kenny would be able to form more of an opinion of a player than yourself.

Then he moved to Villa and played regularly there too, then Fulham came in for him and he was moved to his favoured position of centre half where he's been excellent alongside Hangeland.
      Are you Aaron Hughes?
      *Except Michael, who died.

Glen Johnson is a truly hopeless DEFENDER. You'll find i'm not the only one who thinks this.

Common knowledge in the footballing world. has been the case for a fair few years now.

Think it was the opening match of the 2003 season. Chelsea won 2-1, Hasslebaink got the winner. I think anyway.

Well if it was only 18 minutes, Diouf still ripped Johnson apart.

Glen Johnson has always been a liability defensively, and at 26, that won't change.
He doesn't have the positional sense, the intelligence and the discipline to be a good DEFENDER.

The fact is, you can see Kelly is a proper defender even at his tender age, whereas with Johnson the writing's been on the wall for years and years now.

He came up through the ranks at West Ham, just like Carrick, Ferdinand, Lampard, Joe Cole, Defoe etc etc etc...they haven't had bad careers with this environment have they?

I think the combination of Spearing and Lucas in the middle really helps him as they both cover the fullback areas really well. His main weakness is when isolated one on one. That has almost never been allowed to happen under Kenny.

Fulham came in for Hughes, that might be the peak of his career. Was it Dodgson who signed him?

Nice one Shaggs. You like to jump on the have a go at Rudo bangwagon from time to time.

I'm not saying Hughes is world class far from it, but at the same time i'm going to have to disagree when people come on saying he's ****.

He's had a respectable career and known to be a solid, reliable player. Nothing more, nothing less.

Every Newcastle fan I know says he's **** and given that I live in Newcastle that's quite a few
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

It's not a bandwagon. When it comes to Johnson you talk a relentless amount of hypocritical crap. Your opinion on him is just laughable. You'd do well to just admit you're totally wrong. What's the big deal? I and others seem to have been totally wrong on Spearing and have no problem holding our hands up. What's the big deal?

Anyway it's entertaining watching you trip yourself up, especially with your random and irrelevant lauding of Aaron Hughes

                          Are ''tensions building'' once again?

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I said Johnson was a good athlete, the last time i checked, that's seen as a compliment, no?

"Random lauding of Aaron Hughes"...what on earth are you on about? If you go and check, you'll find that Rowan brought Aaron Hughes up in this thread...not me.
