My favourite part was when Coutinho felt he had to motion johnson continuously to get closer to receive the pass, and he slowly inched painfully forward like he didnt know how close he needed to get. I rarely see players motioning to someone that much. Young kid having to tell a seasoned professional to move.

He was fairly meh against a fairly meh team. One insipid piece of defending led to one of their few half chances and could have resulted in a peno if his clumsiness was more obvious. Couple of moments going forward, which almost resulted in chances, but there was a massive lack in quality all over the pitch last night and Glen was no different.

he is probably worthy of a one year extension on something like 30k per week but he will want 2 or 3 years on something like 80 to 100k per week. So he should be shown the door...... his biggest problem now is that Harry Redknapp has focked off from QPR so he has no back up plan.......if he is not careful he could go the way of someone like Konchesky and end up somewhere like Leicester City. I saw some rumour website a few weeks ago suggesting that Barcelona would be in for him.......well they'd be stupid if that was the case....

always been my main gripe with Johnson, always as his really strange defensively body positioning. He's done this throughout his time with LFC.
Good luck to him next season, i'm sure there will be a few clubs in for him but he is not good enough to be a starter at LFC & on too high wages just to be a squaddie.

I thought he did well yesterday, it was a good performance especially given he has been out of the side for so long. The problem with his situation for me is that he isn't the player he was a few years back that could get up and down the pitch and support attacks. He was quietly effective, if he had another year on his contract I wouldn't mind keeping him around as a squad player who could do a job, but given that he's out of contract and has fairly high wage demands I don't think that a new deal represents value for money, so I don't see him being here next year. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
