Tbh Craig, what's it matter?

I've never actually seen a thread locked and been annoyed at missing out on a great debate, more annoyed because it's the end of a childish debate that I was finding amusing

But whilst I will see some posters refusual to be proven wrong funny, I can see why others find it boring and tiresome. As such I think the Mods get it right more often than not.

If that means they sometimes step in too early and prevent a poster having the last word, ahhh diddums.

The thread was closed before it got worse than it already was, cleaned up, and re-opened within about 30 minutes. That's hardly heavy handed.

And Craig, your're clearly talking about me so stop hiding it behind this "one particular mod bollocks". I'd love some tips from the great Mod that was DJS so any are welcome.

It's funny how the people who have a problem with my modding are generally the ones who I actually have to moderate from time to time and who refuse to accept any wrong doing on their part.

i agree (not with whatever is posted above this as i cant read it) reece once banned me for 2 mins. disgraceful decision

one thing for us all to remember is that the forum isnt for one individual its for a range of people so the mods try to do the best for the majority

that means plenty of us will disagree with what they do but remember plenty disagree when they do nothing as well

they are never going to win and wouldnt it be easier if we didnt have feuds (i mean real ones not fake ones) that spill over into every thread

i find some of the things that rudo and perkins say stupid but i dont feel the need every time they say it to point it out. i also bet there are posters who dont like what i say but they dont feel the need to jump on it.

it only takes some self control.

That's the thing mate, i DONT think the forum is bad for modding, not in the slightest. I do think the mods do a very good job and i appreciate that it's not easy to do. All i said was that SOMETIMES things can get a little over zealous IMO and things which dont necessarily need to be 'controlled' get the 'control' treatment. That's all.

It wasnt anywhere near the harsh 'you can do no right' critique that it was taken as.

Personally on current form, I think Glen is the best in his position in the Premiership, certainly I cannot think of an English right back who is his equal. The team as a whole defended poorly whilst trying to implement Roy's rigid 4-4-2 and Glen was apportioned much more blame than was merited.

Under Kenny his form has kicked on again and I am sure Clarke has played a massive part in this. Glen will be vital in our title winning team next year.

The current one game he's played in months when we conceded 2 goals?
