He's had an outstanding tournament and the media/mancs can't bring it upon themselves to give him any credit. Was asked to play a certain way and keep concentration. He did both and had a better tournament than his world class counterpart, Ashley Cole.

However, I do think Terry probably just edges motm yesterday. Was close though.

He's pretty much cut out the defensive lapses which was the main reason why I've been critical of him in the past.

Some of the blocks and covering he has done has been magnificient and although I have never been as worried defensively about him as some on here, He has really stepped up.

Was a time in the game when Milner lost possession near the Italian 18 yard box instead of pressing the man to try and win it back high up the pitch and set up an attack he ran past the player and assumed his defensive position
