He is almost as good on the left as he is on the right and very few can be effective on either side of the pitch.

I've always rated Glen highly.

Think he has been quite poor the last few weeks. Really hope he doesn't go on one of his long streaks of poor form, he tends to be very streakym with weeks where he is unplayable and weeks when he is awful.

I don't think he's been poor but his form has dropped off, for me it's been since Enrique came back and he moved back to RB. I don't think a system of two attacking full backs suits him, I think this limits his opportunities to get forward as him and Enrique have to take turns. When there is a defensive full back on the other side I think he can get forward at will and that's when he's at his best as the other full back can make up the numbers at the back.

I think you can tell what type of game Johnson will have within the first 5 minutes. If he sloppily either puts it into touch or gives it away or even gets it stuck under his foot, he'll be ****. Its like the casual Johnson has turned up. He had been consistently good for a while.

Exactly right, he never seems to recover from early mistakes.

What about all of the games/seasons he has been good for us. First half of this season he was arguably our best player. Weak mentally is a load of rubbish.

Think about last season when he played at Left Back? Did he freak out and start crying? Nope, he got on with it and did exceptionally well in a position that's not his natural one.

Perhaps he just needs a bit of a rest as he seldom gets any. I dunno. He plays pretty much every game - RB, LB. I know it seems like a pony excuse but perhaps the long season has caught up with him.

It's hard for any player to keep a good form for an entire season, and you just notice more when it's a defender / GK because their mistakes are more costly.

He's been one of our best players but he's weak under the high ball and teams have been targeting him. We lost a goal on a few occasions due to it, against united away and Southampton away and I'm sure there's more I can't remember right now.
