I've always liked Kelly and want to see him succeed more than any other player. I think it's just because he showed so much potential and seems to have been dealt a really cruel set of injuries.

I agree he is not on his game at the moment but I think his standards are high and any drop from that is noticeable.

Clyne would be a name that springs to mind for me. Young, quick, mobile, good tackler, good marker, and from what I have seen a damn good work rate.

He looked good when at Palace and has really stepped up since joining Southampton.

Is at an age where he could, if bought, be at the club for the bones of a decade.

Not as attacking as Johnson (although not lacking at that side of the game), but looks much more solid at the defending side of things.

Watching him this season he seems to be very adaptable in his play, and seems to be able to take on pretty much all styles of attacker. He looks good against pace merchants, against dribblers, against powerful players, and looks best of all, to me anyway, against the type of attacker who is lauded for having the ability to unlock a backline with a pass as Clyne reads the game pretty well and positions himself where he can sniff out passes.

Would be chuffed if we went in for him tbh. Said it before on here, but I think he and Shaw are the two best young british fullbacks in the Premier league right now.

Next season maybe but he wasn't ready this season, the loan move look like it's doing him wonders though albeit at a lower level.

I think Wisdom still has a good chance of making it at LFC but his future is at centre back rather than right back imo. When i watched him at England u21 level he looked like a beast there and did quite well in pre-season beside Skrtel.

The ability is there its just about confidence and consistency.

Clyne would be my choice for a glen replacement.

Shocking these last few games BUT he's still the best we have there. No way we are going to sign anyone in January who is better so lets see what the situation is at the end of the season.

He's either carrying an injury or just not arsed.

I was shocked at his passing, the timing of his runs, difficulties in getting back into his position. If Kelly was back to fitness, then there'd be an issue, but there isn't. Something isn't right.
