I'm not saying Hughes is world class far from it, but at the same time i'm going to have to disagree when people come on saying he's ****.

He's had a respectable career and known to be a solid, reliable player. Nothing more, nothing less.

You could have avoided all this just by admitting that you overreacted and went OTT when judging Glen's skills and that would have been enough.

Instead you went on and on about nobody-who Hughes and his "incredible football skills" and only thing you had to say about Glen was that he was a good athlete

I think the combination of Spearing and Lucas in the middle really helps him as they both cover the fullback areas really well. His main weakness is when isolated one on one. That has almost never been allowed to happen under Kenny.

I merely pointed out that Aaron Hughes is mediocre to average and that he's from Northern Ireland. I didn't expect you to come out in some impassioned defence of him and his superior playing abilities and in the process make yourself look like a mong.

Well this thread has escalated!

Johnson, much like Skrtel whom i personally have been critical over, have improved under Kenny, actually everyone has. Do i think Johnson has justified the fee we paid for him? No, not a chance. But his improvement (which lets be honest was well fricken needed) is most welcome and long may it last as he still has a way to go IMO.

IMO we all go overboard when players have a few **** games, just as much as we knee jerk when players have few good games, i'm sure all every supporter of a team in every sport does exactly the same thing. Swings and roundabouts & we're all guilty of it.

I don't see the point in a witchhunt it's nuts, personally abusing someone over football comments FFS always a pissing contest and usually it's very knee jerk, what's the problem with sitting back and enjoying the LFC revival
