They were contemplating exercising buy-back option last year for 12m but decided that Hernandez was better choice.

This year it may be different as Berbatov will almost certainly be sold and they still have first option to resign him if they want to subject they meet Villareal evaluation.

Very good player and personally it would be wise ontheir part to get him back.

I'd like to see a wee bit more of Coates (I think he looks quality) but it's extremely hard for him to get games with Skrtel playing so well.

I'm pretty hacked off at the moment.

Agree our defence as a unit is looking good. I'm still not a fan of GJ though. He's been better this year but still doesn't a) offer much going forward (it's a myth), b) he's defensively naive and always worries me.

what 3 points re the 2 players cost i agree but were playing well
