I dunno, I just thought he was trying to get himself into positions. Its just a shame that the attacking threat only came from Oxlade Chamberlain and occasionally Gerrard from the set plays.
    *Except Michael, who died.

decent defender, but imho he is a better attacking threat. would be better on Rw than milner.
Buck will love the options that Glen gives to support the attack.

All Milner seemed to do was try and run at the Left back, the one time he cut inside he did something.

Thought Johnson was excellent yesterday. Kept Ribery quiet and ineffective allthough every defender manages to do that anyway

AS's tournament guide book has, via a vote of its writers, put together a perfect XI. Only one English player. Guess who?

All he is is a good athlete! I'd prefer to play Stephen Darby there!!!

On a serious note, Johnson or Arbeloa?

only cos once we [or england] lose possession with him bombing forward he is struggling to get back into position. happened last night.

But that's the danger with any attacking full back. The defensive mids should cover any forward run so I wouldn't really be blaming Glen for that.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

ok. it might have looked worse with milner going missing and ball watching instead of covering the space after glen has run past him while milner is playing statues.

It also helps attacking full backs if the team they play for doesn't habitually give the ball away quickly.

Under Bronto it's pretty much guaranteed.
                              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I think that was him sprinting actually...
