Johnson has finally cut out most/all of his silly mistakes which have plagued him for years. The casual ball which gets cut out, the dwelling on the ball in silly places, the lack of awareness of those around him - all seemingly gone from his game.
He has, for years, been very good going forward but somewhat of a liability at the back. That has changed - and I for one am happy to say that he's proved me wrong.
He is now performing as a top class right back should.
(I still prefer Arbeloa though!

Johnson is the best English right back. He has been really good in the Euro's imo. I was at my son's training the other day surrounded with spurs fans and they were absolutely slating him,blaming him for almost all the goals that England have conceded (apart from the one against France which they slated Gerrard for). They were so hard done by because Walker wasn't selected, the ****s....they are the most irritating fans ever.......Maybe Walker shouldn't go around night clubs thinking he's 'The Big I Am' picking fights with people!-----------------------------------------------

people were saying that kyle walker should have played if fit instead but thats ridiculous.
walker is great going forward but crap defensively. so if england dont go forward whats the point of having a fullback who does his best work in the oppositions half.
