I can't wait for Flanno to get fit and get back into the team. His added grit and composure on the ball will add a lot to the team.

I can't see Johnson being sold before the end of this window. He may be gone in January and will definitely be gone in the summer though, as he'll be out of contract.
      Are we winning?

He has been awful now for a long time and his credit has run out. I expect Manquillo and Moreno to be our first choice full backs.

I think Johnson will be gone by the time the window shuts assuming Flanagan's injury isn't serious.
I'm sure someone on here has already beat you to it, Pabs. Wasn't there a poster who used to count his touches and passes then come on and slate the funk out of young Razzah when he was about 17
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Ah yes, he thought Toni Silva, now of CSKA Sofia, was the better player

Has Silva been bounced out of Barnsley already

Aye. Not before they sent him on loan to Dagenham & Redbridge though. Good spot there from our Saj.

In line for the vice captaincy when Agger leaves according to Barrett. Probably a good thing since Agger hardly played after he got it

Liverpool's Glen Johnson a transfer target for Italian champions Juventus in January window

The England defender is set to be a free agent at the end of this season and the Turin giants believe they may be able to get him before that in a cut-price deal

Juventus are targeting a January move for Liverpool full-back Glen Johnson.

England international Johnson is on course to become a free agent at the end of the season but Juve believe they may be able to do a cut-price deal with the Reds and sign him in the next window.

Liverpool risk losing Johnson for nothing next summer but so far they have not reached agreement on a new contract.

But Juventus may find Johnson's big contract a stumbling block. The 30-year-old defender is likely to want a big pay-day if he moves to Italy.

A switch to Turin for Johnson would see him continue a recent trend for England full-backs, with Ashley Cole joining Roma from Chelsea on a Bosman this summer and Manchester City loaning Micah Richards to Fiorentina for the final season of his deal.
                        Oh I don't know.

Quite sad how steep his decline has been. Sell!

I think by January we will have seen if he's got the fight in him to regain his form and win his place back. If he's still on the sidelines then get rid.

As you say quite sad seeing his decline as on form he's exactly what we need in a fullback given our style of play.
