The power that Ferguson holds over LMA is unreal. It appears almost all the managers bend over backwards to please him. They have been consistently getting 3 to 7 million for their ****e players. If the Mancs had signed Poulsen last year, Bruce would have come in with a 8 million bid by now.

That's what happens when you're champions. You have a better reputation all round than other clubs when you're consistently champions. Attracting better players and other clubs wanting your players, even fringe ones is just another perk. Would be nice wouldn't it.

I don't imagine that either of Woodgate or Upson will be playing every match these days. Stoke are in Europe and will need squad depth.

Well they probably couldn't even if they wanted to, but Shawcross doesn't miss many games does he? Don't know about Huth though, seems a bit much though.
