He doesn't even register with me as an ex lfc player anymore, when i think of MO, it's in a UTD or England kit that i see him, and you know what, i think if he was honest he'd say joining utd was one of his greatest achievments, and maybe even his proudest moment was having Fergie sign him.
I've tried to like him, but he's just got something about him I don't like.
That statement is about as manufactured as it could possibly be (bar the last paragraph), and no doubt I'll get slaughtered for it, but since leaving us, he's acted like Billy Big Bollocks. His football has deteriorated, and that is such a shame. Made a number of wrong choices and now his career is as it is.
A career that started like the Big Bang ultimately fizzled out into a damp paper towel.
He won us an FA cup. Without him that would have been a horrible boring 1-0 defeat. You have to give him credit there.
Of course, he was amazing for us. Just don't think he is a 'big' part of our history, but like I said it is debatable and I am sure many would disagree with me.

He was brilliant for us, I'm not sure if he regrets anything but he should regret joining Newcastle instead of signing back for us when Rafa said he'd have him back for the same money as we sold him for.
Crapped himself about losing his England place by being a sub for Madrid (bonkers, Sven would never have dropped him) that was THE move that ****ed up his career.
Always gave the impression he was only interested in being England's greatest ever goalscorer.
It's a shame, Houllier treated him appallingly when coming back from injuries
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.
