I was too, but leaving sentiment out of it, I feel the same now as then. Good luck to him though, I agree. (especially if it means raising his sale price next season)

Seems an utterly baffling thing to want. If West Ham pay his wages + a fee (or agree to a PL survival conditional purchase) then we are much better off. It's clear that Rodgers will only play him in an emergency and the money saved/bought in could easily get us someone he will actually use.
