Agree with all this except I've rated him as a goal getter. Not at 35 mill thoughOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostI was horrified when we signed him but he proved me wrong to an extent - I really grew to like him, there's a player in there somewhere and he seems a nice lad too. I was too, but leaving sentiment out of it, I feel the same now as then. Good luck to him though, I agree. Seems an utterly baffling thing to want. If West Ham pay his wages + a fee (or agree to a PL survival conditional purchase) then we are much better off. It's clear that Rodgers will only play him in an emergency and the money saved/bought in could easily get us someone he will actually use.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostWhy?"The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

He did. But so did the actual players on the pitch mate, it wasn't all about the manager. If it wasn't for Pongolle and Mellor scoring v Olympiakos... well. Daniel7's point was still valid imoOriginally posted by sean_lfc View PostYou've got to be in it to win it. I think Rafa might have had something to do with ours winning it. I'm not sure, correct me if I'm wrong.

What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
